Paratransit is an alternative mode of transportation service that is available to any ADA eligible individual. Torrance Transit provides paratransit services through two programs:

Access Services

Access Services is a regional paratransit agency that administers the LA County Coordinated Paratransit Plan ("Plan") on behalf of 44 local public fixed route operators, including Torrance Transit. It provides curb-to-curb shared-ride services within 3/4 mile radius of a fixed-route bus stop or a Metro rail station throughout Los Angeles County.

Access Services operations hours for Torrance are:
Monday-Friday: 4:30 a.m. - 12:00 a.m.
Saturday: 5:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m.
Sunday: 5:30 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.

Torrance Community Transit Program (TCTP)

The Torrance Community Transit Program (TCTP) is a transportation assistance program for residents of the City of Torrance. TCTP includes both the Senior and Dial-a-Taxi Swipe Card programs. TCTP enables participants to purchase credits for taxi rides at a discounted personal cost.
